Red rigid employee onboarding gift box
A custom corporate welcome kit box built as a red wrapped two-piece rigid box with a black flocked EVA insert and individual printed cartons for mixed employee gifts and electronics accessories.
Rigid structure
Separate lift-off lid and base using 2.5-3.0mm greyboard as the supplied production direction
Surface route
Red printed wrap, white line artwork, matte lamination, mounting, and turned edges
Product fit
CNC-routed black flocked EVA plus 300gsm accessory folding cartons
Visual proof points
These views separate the decisions procurement teams need to check: product layout, lift-off structure, wrapped surface, flocked EVA cavities, and accessory-carton fit.

Landing page reference
This assembly concept shows how products of different heights can share one presentation. The final production sample must use the separate lift-off lid shown in the structure reference.

Structure reference
The open structure view establishes the production baseline: a wrapped rigid base, separate lift-off lid, and removable product-specific insert.

Use a physical proof to approve red color, white-line registration, film sheen, corner wrapping, edge turning, glue marks, and rubbing resistance.

Cavity dimensions, foam density, flock uniformity, finger access, shedding, compression, and product contact should be tested with the actual items.

The filled view helps approve pack order and clearance. Every retail carton, accessory, and removal direction still needs controlled dimensions or physical samples.
Customization options
Choose greyboard caliper, wrap paper, CMYK artwork, matte film, and EVA after the complete product set, finished size, quantity, and delivery route are known.

Review this optionPrint and finish route
The red-and-white design relies on color consistency, fine-line registration, clean turned edges, and controlled matte sheen across the lid and base.
CMYK or a controlled spot-color route creates the red wrap before a low-sheen film is laminated and mounted to the rigid shell.
Approve the red target, film sheen, rub resistance, cracking risk, color consistency, and glue compatibility on the selected paper.
Fine white lines create the main lid graphic against the red field without requiring an unsupported metallic finish.
Approve vector artwork, line weight, opacity, registration, edge sharpness, and consistency across the final run.
The flocked surface gives the routed foam a uniform presentation finish while keeping each fixed product or carton in its planned cavity.
Test flock coverage, shedding, color transfer, cavity edges, compression, removal force, adhesive performance, and product compatibility.

Proofing check
Red outer wrap
Color proof, offset printing, matte lamination, mounting, edge turning, and rigid-box assembly
Creates the primary brand field across the lid and base.
Confirm paper, red target, wrap grain, seams, corners, glue marks, film adhesion, scuffing, and lid-to-base consistency.
White line artwork
Vector preflight, opacity review, print proof, and registration control
Adds a clean technical graphic without changing the box structure.
Check minimum line weight, knockout behavior, registration tolerance, opacity, and position after wrapping.
Flocked EVA layout
CAD layout, CNC routing, flocking, bonding, and real-product fit test
Organizes mixed gift items and individual cartons in one controlled presentation.
Confirm every dimension, cavity depth, tolerance, finger notch, orientation, removal, compression, and lid clearance.
Accessory cartons
300gsm white-card dielines, CMYK proofing, matte lamination, die cutting, folding, and fit trial
Separates drinkware or electronics while adding product-specific artwork surfaces.
Approve carton size, board, print, fold lines, closure, packed weight, EVA clearance, and pack order.
Specification summary
The structure and supplied material direction are defined, while dimensions, tolerances, product fit, quantity, packing, and shipping protection remain subject to sampling.
Packaging type
Custom corporate welcome kit box using a square two-piece rigid lid-and-base structure with a fitted black insert
Rigid shell
2.5-3.0mm high-density greyboard production direction; final caliper depends on finished size, packed weight, lid fit, and sample approval
Wrap paper
250gsm coated paper or selected art paper mounted over the greyboard, with full red printing, white line artwork, matte lamination, and turned edges
Insert
35-45 density EVA foam direction with CNC-routed product cavities and black flocked surface; hardness, density, thickness, and tolerances require fit testing
Accessory cartons
300gsm white card folding cartons with CMYK printing and matte lamination for drinkware, speaker, or other individual kit items
Production route
Greyboard cutting, paper printing and lamination, paper mounting and rigid-box wrapping, EVA routing and flocking, carton conversion, assembly, and fit inspection
Shipping note
The fixed rigid box does not fold flat and normally needs surface protection plus a corrugated shipper or master-carton system for delivery
Main price drivers
Finished size, greyboard caliper, wrap choice, print coverage, EVA thickness and cavity count, accessory cartons, quantity, packing, and destination
Buyer decisions
A fixed rigid box and routed foam create an ordered reveal, but they add material and shipping volume. Validate the complete pack-out rather than quoting from the outer box alone.
Finished box dimensions
Every product and carton size
Individual packed weights
Insert layout and removal direction
Vector artwork and red target
Target order quantity
Shipper or master-carton needs
Delivery destination
2.5mm greyboard baseline
Balanced rigidity for a medium welcome kit
Final suitability depends on span, depth, packed weight, stacking, and lid fit
3.0mm greyboard route
Larger or heavier gift sets needing greater shell stiffness
Adds material, weight, wrapping demands, storage volume, and freight
Coated or art-paper wrap
Full red printing with crisp white line artwork and a controlled matte surface
Paper shade, ink behavior, film, folds, seams, and glue compatibility require proofing
Flocked EVA insert
Precise cushioning and repeatable staging for a fixed product set
Requires item-specific routing and is harder to separate into material streams after use
Also suitable for
Proof before mass production
Wrapped rigid-box sample: Checks size, board stiffness, red color, matte sheen, white-line registration, seams, turned edges, corner alignment, and lid action.
Filled EVA fit sample: Checks cavity dimensions, flocking, removal, compression, product movement, carton fit, finger access, and lid clearance.
Pack-out and transit trial: Checks assembly sequence, packing time, total weight, surface protection, master-carton layout, handling, and arrival condition.
Sampling and production path
Engineer the box, accessory cartons, EVA, artwork, pack order, and shipping protection as one system before mass production.
1
List every product, accessory, retail carton, card, dimension, weight, orientation, removal direction, and planned pack order.
2
Set finished dimensions, board caliper, lid overlap, wrap allowance, EVA thickness, hardness, cavities, tolerances, and finger access.
3
Approve red color, white artwork, matte film, paper, seams, turned edges, accessory-carton dielines, print, folds, and closures.
4
Pack real items to test movement, removal, compression, lid clearance, total weight, surface protection, master cartons, and arrival condition.

Structure reference
Use the two-piece rigid box as the production baseline, then tune the greyboard, lift-off lid fit, red wrap, flocked EVA layout, and individual cartons around the actual gift set.
A separate rigid lid and base create a familiar gift opening without corrugated flaps, a hinge, or a magnetic closure.
CNC-routed EVA can organize different item profiles when every product and carton is validated for fit, access, movement, and lid clearance.
The wrapped surface and fixed shell prioritize presentation, so protective packing and a suitable master carton or shipper may still be required.

Production FAQ
The production baseline is a square two-piece rigid box with a separate lift-off lid and base. It is made from wrapped greyboard and should not be specified as a folding carton or hinged magnetic box.
The supplied direction uses 2.5-3.0mm high-density greyboard wrapped with 250gsm coated or art paper. The red wrap is planned with full-color printing, white line artwork, matte lamination, mounting, and turned-edge rigid-box assembly.
The direction uses 35-45 density EVA foam with product cavities routed by CNC before black flocking. Final foam hardness, density, thickness, cavity depth, tolerance, finger access, shedding, and product compatibility require physical samples.
Yes. The photographed arrangement is only one reference. Send every product and inner carton with dimensions, weight, orientation, removal direction, and packing order so the insert can be redrawn and tested.
Individual 300gsm white-card cartons can organize drinkware, speakers, or accessories and provide separate print surfaces. Their dimensions and matte-laminated CMYK artwork must be included when the EVA layout is engineered.
Do not assume the presentation box is parcel-ready. Its wrapped surface, corners, fitted products, and fixed volume may require a protective bag, dividers, master carton, or separate corrugated shipper based on the delivery route and transit test.
Check finished size, lid fit, corner alignment, red color, white-line registration, matte sheen, wrap seams, EVA fit and flocking, product removal, lid clearance, accessory-carton fit, packed weight, and shipping protection.
Send finished box size, every product and carton dimension, packed weights, insert layout, artwork, material preferences, target quantity, packing requirements, destination, and any transit-test standard.
Corrugated Boxes Choose the corrugated box route by shipping risk, product weight, print needs, insert fit, and the opening experience your customer should receive.
Folding Cartons Compare paperboard carton styles by structure, product fit, material, print area, and production use before choosing a quote-ready packaging path.
Rigid Boxes Choose rigid boxes when the packaging needs a stronger gift-box feel, durable presentation, premium surface finishing, and a more controlled opening experience.
Flexible Pouches Use custom pouches when the packaging needs to stay light, portable, resealable, shelf-friendly, or efficient for food, refills, masks, samples, and pet products. Product structures
